Got a good way to clean the racks? I spray them with Pam, both sides but after a 12 hr cook that stuff is stuck on there pretty good and they are a b***h to clean. Suggestions?

...a cheap a$$ brass brush and some heat:

I use a combo grill brush/pad/scraper. Does a decent job. Hit is with some anti-bacterial dish soap and a hose if i'm going from one kind of meat to another... don't want to give anyone the nasties.

If you still have some coals left in your basket, open your intakes all the way and put the racks all the way down on top of them. It'll burn everything up nice and good and make it easier to get off.

Hell I don't even clean out my barrel. I jsut tip it upside down and let it drain out sometimes. Been thinking about taking it to the car wash though.

My UDS and kettle grates are in a steady rotation. Once the UDS grates get nasty from stuck on pork butt they go to the kettle and the next time I fire up the lump it scrapes right off with the wire brush.
