So no meat remaining in Kitchen side by side freezer. Only one small chuck remains in Beer Freezer. Holding pen has the final drop. Small 5cf chest freezer in garage, zero steaks, roasts etc. does have about half remaining hamburger meat 10# various cuts of pork etc. So in two months made a helluva dent.

This morning I hit three stores for restock purposes of steaks. I'm not one to totally remove everything. I Park as far away from the store as I can. Hike to the back of the store. Check for mainly steaks. Take a few. Leave.

Today's numbers
2 Large Cowboy Ribeye
2 Large Porterhouse
9 Thin Cut Ribeye
Steakhouse Sliders

Total Retail about $150
Total Paid $93.82IMG_20241030_110103_HDR~2.jpg

Nicely done Adams. I thought youy were waiting till November to hit the YT Bins
Got ahead of schedule. Not a bad thing. Wife got somewhat tired of beef the last 60 days. But like the other day I cooked me a bunless green Chile cheese burger, got her a takeout chile rellano plate. Which was nice as I stole some pappas and beans. Today unless something changes I'm cooking my last giant Tomahawk from old stash(tail cut off) Hoping she'll make her broccoli cheddar soup. It's thick creamy and goes well with steak.
Just traveling along at the speed of a turtle avoiding restaurants to the extent possible.

Something else during this period. Don't think I bought any beer. None in New Mexico and maybe two with my son in Addison. That wasn't planned, it just happened. A few pours of bourbon about it.
