It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Smoked my first turkey breast on the kettle today. I did not use the pop up, I should have removed that.

I cooked it at 300 degrees according to an oven thermometer inside the cooker.

Local supermarket had them on sale, it was Shady Brook Farms. I don't have a lot of cooks on the kettle so I still have some learning to do but I am loving these results.

I originally planned to cook it at 325 but it settled in so nice at 300, I just left it alone. Funny thing is, the only thing I did was sprinkle some kosher salt and some fresh ground pepper right from the pepper mill and no smoking wood, only briquettes. I could not believe the results.

Good looking bird. Perfect color, as Jason said. I look forward to smoking turkey every Thanksgiving. Occasionally one for Christmas too!
