• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

This is not Q, but it does involve lots of meat.

Threw together a pretty good batch.

Took about a 1/4 lb of dried Ancho and New Mexico chiles(make sure you remove the stems. Boiled them in about 2 qts of water until tender and put them through the food processor. Strained out the skin and seeds.

Browned 4lbs stew meat and 3lbs of hamburger meat, drained. Added the chile water, cumin, garlic, salt and onion powder. Cooked for about 3 hours until the meat was tender.

Came out great. Next time I will add a little mexican oregeno.

Toss in some Fritos and cheddar cheese and we are set!

Small bag, sliced open down the side, and add chopped onion (preferably spanish onion). Sliced jalapenos if you like. If you can mix in a high school football game in Texas during November on a cold night....then that my friend is as good as Frito Pie gets.
