Made these up from 6” horse shoes. One is 4” high and one is 6” high. Both have 1/2” bolts for legs with nuts welded to the bottom of the frame, so can change the height by changing bolt length, very modular. I have a 12” Dutch oven but also a 24” copper Cazo that I want to use these with. Together they will provide a grate for my Dutch oven but also a place to set my lid when checking food. Total cost was about $12.00 each and a little time and wire for the welder.

Built a handle for the lid too. From a “J” bolt for concrete to secure the plate to top of wall. $2.50 then a 2’ piece of 1/2” rebar for the rest of the handle. A little bending and adding but we have a $5 lid tool.
