Greetings to All,

I've been an amateur/backyard Qer/smoker for about twenty years. I just bought a new BGE XL a few weeks ago. I also have an older offset that will inevitably get neglected with the addition of the Egg. I am without a doubt addicted to Egg food and cooking.

As I'm writing this, I have about 8# of brisket on the Egg. It's slathered in a maple mustard and has been in the Egg since last night. I'm still waiting for the temp to break, but it will probably be ready to come off around noon.

I smoked my original gasket last week and found this forum searching for new gasket options. Just installed a Rutland and it seems to work perfectly. Thanks!

Time to search the forum for lunch options.
