• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Hey guys, my teammate who happens to be a carpenter and I are redoing the comp trailer this winter. We ran into a bit of a problem and need your advice. What type of material should we use for the countertops? We have one counter that's 6 foot long about 2 foot wide and the second counter is 14 foot long and 2 foot wide. Thanks in advance brethern

Stainless would be my first choice then if that wasn't affordable, maple butcher block.

I went to the local metal works place Saturday and stainless is our way to expensive any other options. Thanks again for your help

For our trailer, we bought some cheap(ish) stainless tables from ab restaurant supply and used those for the counters. They're not perfect, but work great.

Umrebel,

You might wanna look here. I doubt that the tops are end grain... also have you checked with a recycler? They sell by the pound to whoever and don't care if its a washing machine or a stainless table. Maybe you can find something that can be modded for cheap

We just put new Starboard counters in our trailer. Don't know how that would compare in price to your other options but they're great.

You can find scrap pieces of laminate at some warehouse stores pretty cheap. Maybe you could build some plywood base tops and cover with laminate.

Well guys we finally decided going with a wood with a light stain with our logo in the middle and going to use the liquid glass epoxy (same as the beer cap tables) to seal it
