• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Took back control of my scene...

... sort of. Bride noticed the wind is supposed to be 35-50 tomorrow. She was in Sams and picked me up a 10 package of chicken thighs- actually 2 ten packs. So I seasoned one of them up. Primo Oval XL offset on elevated grate with wood chunks of mesquite oak and hickory. Maybe 2-3" of each. Bird seasoned with a blend of green chile rub, black pepper and John Henry Mojave garlic.

Thighs are my favorite. Great color, looks mighty fine Adams!

Yeah, supposed to get down 32F (Thurs) / 27F (Fri) 'round here with some 30+mph breezes on Thurs.

What a great reason to fire up a package of thighs... and they sure look tasty!

30 is slightly above normal. Ain't going to knock down fences...

Absolutely love thighs of all species, I would definitely be all over these.

Well normally I'm a leg man... those thighs looked perfectly cooked Adams!

If those are not the definition of PERFECTION, I don't know what is!! :-)

Great post!!...Recently I cooked a spatch cooked chicken on an improvised raised rack in my weber kettle. Best skin I EVER cooked, also the juices were running. The heat had to be around 400 or more. It was a morale booster as my chicken had been lacking lately.....anyway.....great post and pics!!
