Made a rack of lamb and 4 tuna steaks tonight. Fired up the beast, put in a chimney of lump with some hickory and oak and prepared for dinner in about an hour.
20 mins in........RRRRRING... Wife calls, car is dead in a gas station aout 15 miles away. its about 6PM. Gotta run. Tell the kids to take the tuna off in 10 mins. Towed the grand cherokee home with my little wrangler. That was a sight.
Well.. got back around 930. Tuna jerky.... yum... lamb kindof survived, fire went out before the lamb got wrecked. Finished it up on the grill. At least that was edible....
Got that brisket still in the fridge callin out to me. Think its gonna have to go in before the weekend. Gonna try a montreal rub this time.. plain and simple.
