• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Throw out your cookers!!!!

Someone needs to buy one and put it head to head with the real deal.

I see my self still playing with fire.

I bet the lid wont close right with a cherry wheel! Did you see the two large scoops of butter in the "old way". Who would do that?

I guess the time has finally come to put my smoker on ebay. I have absolutely no idea what I was thinking. This will make everything taste so much better!
Think of the savings in butter alone. And the time saved. No more flare ups!
And my food will be flavor infused. All for sixty bucks!!!!!

Just because of this innovation, I'm going to install a drive through window!

I'm sold.
Anyone wanna buy about 3 cords of pecan, hickory, and oak smoker wood and chunks?
And, a couple of big ole nasty smokers?
And, some pellets?
And, a whole bunch of smoker things like chimneys, charcoal, etc?
Make ya a heck of a deal!!!!!

NOT

But does it boil the ribs for you as well? And where the heck do you pour the liquid smoke?

I think it comes with a 1 oz glass so you can down a shot of liquid smoke with each bite. YUM!!

And the glass may also be dish washer safe.

Wow, I'm glad I can't get one of those, I'd have to buy them as gifts for my whole family....

INFUSED, INFUSED, INFUSED!

Everytime I see testimonials like those, I think, "These are the people buying McRibs".

Infuser?
Another old saying from back in the day....
"Better living through chemistry".
I think not,
in this case.

We have a round George Foreman grill thing (different than most I've seen in the stores) that has a center cup for flavor "infusion". Well, the thing grills chicken and chops real well. But the flavor infusion thing is a JOKE! I've added water with all sorts of stuff in it, herbs, worchestershire, hot sauce, terryaki, etc. and NOTHING adds chit for flavor to anything I'm cooking.

Someone gave me a Foreman years ago. I think it still resides in a box, or I gave it away.

Yeah, but is it KCBS legal?

Any device that takes the juices away from the meat whilst it cooks cannot be good.

What's wrong with a good old cast iron griddle pan? :?:

Because, as the commercial demonstrated, you have to add 5 pounds of butter just to cook in a traditional pan!

And the traditional pan doesn't have a "flavor infuser"

Crap, credit card is maxed out. Calling the mortgage company now. This things gonna change the WORLD!!!

I just ordered 2 of them.

Now I'm applying for a catering license

It is interesting to note that some of the high end restaurants in NYC use the George Foreman Grill to sear tuna and other foods right before presentation! I have the book "George Foreman's Indoor Grilling Made Easy" and know the co-author, editor. There are some suprisingly good recipes in that book. The GF Grill is a very good accessory. We use it all the time indoors.

Yours in BBQ,

Cliff
