• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

This weekend I Q'd three more... because I love em so much. Wonderful, wonderful. Rostiss'd to perfection with some cherry and pecan. Tender choice juicy, cut thin and placed in a tortilla with beans, cheese, salsa and guacamole...I'm tellin ya!

Thank the Lord for BBQ!

Those looks great, leanza! Exactly what cut does the tri-tip come from? Does it have another name? What do I tell the butcher if i want some of those?

Thanks Jim, that was just the info I needed. I have always heard of this particular cut of meat as a sirloin tip roast.

Now your just showing off.
It's very hard for us to get good tri-tips in Iowa. You would think in the midst of the corn belt where we raise hogs and cattle that we could get a decent Tri-Tip at a decent price.
