This chucky is for slicing! 007 rotisserie

Free Tony told me Kroger had some nice chuckies so of course I had to stop!

Did a jaccard, SPG and only needed 1 Octofork for this little guy. Today was largely oak with a little maple...did a real low fire with lots of smoke and self basting so it should be good! Dinner in a while after mashing some potatoes and making some gravy.

What temp did you cook it to? I've always taken them to pulling temps.

Thanks Larry. I think it was pulled about 190* but it was different temps all over the place, Pretty much pulled at little resistance and then covered and rested for a bit. I think the doing a jaccard helps too, this was pretty tender.

Killer smoke ring. Canned green beans are better deposited in the garbage disposal, though.

That fire doesn't look very "low" to me, in the video. I don't think most people know how to maintain a low fire in the 007, which is why you need a demo video. Do it, man.

Yea it was a pretty low fire with only exception of a few minutes like in that GIF I tossed on a couple small splits. Most of the fire the flame was low like in this pic. I'll do a vid probably.

Yep, for a low fire I can go big ones for a while but when the coal base dwindles down some then some smaller/medium ones go in to bump it back up....rinse and repeat going back to some bigger ones and maybe cracking some air if needed.
