• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I took some pics of some of the pits that I've been using. Soon I will be building a covered area to park some of these as my OL is starting to complain about wanting her deck space back.

What's the deal with that shave tail egg?

You are to blame for that! I talked to you at a comp in Seattle a few years ago about my Kamado and one thing led to another, and another and....

Then I found an Egg!

Well, getting people to buy eggs is my job so...........

Is that the same one that's in the table? I wish I had an old one. Why's it look so smooth?

The one in the table is an Imperial Kamado Modern style, last of the Japanese made K's. I got it @ 14 years ago for $15 has a cart an extra coal grate, daisy wheel top and fire ring. Its been upgraded with a BGE spring assist hinge and stainless draft vent. The green and orange one is a "China Pot" kamado made in Taiwan that I rebuilt and sold last summer. I saw a little earthenware K with a 9" grill a couple weeks ago in pretty sad condition, they wanted $50. The Imperial Kamado website has a trove of repair info and history.

I heard that if you trim the bushes around your deck, it makes your deck look bigger..... Blue Collar Comedy Mod
