I've seen and heard a lot about Tatonka dust but never tried it before until I won a prize package from Owens BBQ and they included a shaker of Tatonka Dust.

Wow!! All I can say is the stuff is excellent. No, not because I won it but because it really is an amazing rub and truly unique as described. LYU and RonL recommended for me to try it on pork chops and I grabbed a thick center cut chop.

Didn't take a bunch of pics this time but here it goes.

Using on burgers next. Thanks for looking!

Pork chop and tots! How can you go wrong?? Buddy of mine and I had a weekend of no wives and decided we would cook everything on the grill....including tots. They were pretty darn tasty!

chop looks killer, thumbs up to Owens, I will try some soon

Thanks!! I fried the tots for time sake but I can imagine them on the grill.

Thanks Tom! Man, I hadn't done chops in ages and I enjoyed it tremendously. This rub just elevated it to another level.

Wow 4:27 in the morning and all i'm going to be thinking about all day is that chop..:icon_smile_tongue:

Chop looks great from here and its bedtime

A fine looking chop and tater tot's, how could that ever be wrong.

Interesting I was talking with the wife yesterday about grilling some chops tonight for dinner. I have a bottle of Tatonka that I got with purchase of my vortex. I have not tried it yet, but I will give it a try tonight on the chops! Good looking chop you made!

Thanks for reminding me that I have a bottle of tatonka dust in my collection that came with my vortex. I need to give it a try and I love me some good chops so now I have a mission. Great looking meal you had there!!

Brother ssv3, as always, the grub looks outstanding. However you need to gnaw on that bone a little more. I see some fine meat that you left behind:thumb:

Glad I didn't steer you wrong. Also, don't be afraid to go a little heavy with it. I think Tatonka Dust is one of those seasonings that you're either going to love, or you're going to hate. Fortunately, we love it, I buy the 1lb. bags.

And with tater tots, no less :whoo:

I've been hearing a lot about that stuff - guess it's time to check it out! Nice cooking and picture taking there!

That was one amazingly beautiful looking chop, thanks for the recommendation on Tatonka Dust.

Chops look great. It's great on pork, but made for beef in my opinion. Tri tip with tatonka dust on a bun with horseradish mayo is amazing. And if I'm grilling and not smashing burgers tatonka is my go-to.
