thermapen wont work

my thermapen by thermoworks wont work properly. i put new batteries in it. i have found that i have to squueze it real hard and itll show a temp. otherwise it will not work at all. not happy about this. ive had it jus over a year probably. anyone know any fixes for this?

Customer service. Even if its out if warranty $25 max is all you spend. They shipped me a new one for $25 when one of my tpens started having issues.

Their cs is like clockwork.
