• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

The Stoker

competition for the Guru, huh? Anybody seen one yet?

The Naked Whiz website just posted a review recently.

... bottom line seemd to be the ability to monitor mutiple grills and the wireless PC interface. Seems like Guru could leapfrog that capability without too much difficulty. When the whole thing gets too automated, I will find another way to get sweaty.

Q_Egg, you only have to buy into as much of the technology as you want too. My friend and cooking partner will not even use a chamber thermometer, much less moniter internal temps. He holds his hand over the exhaust, and gauges the temp that way. Best [best--well, almost the best Q cook I know:grin: ] We have to do what works for us. I am a gageteer, so I like the techie stuff, but bottom line, I judge done-ness by feel and touch.

Anyone know if this unit has some kind of adaptor for a BWS? Multiple queries via the website email address have gone unanswered.

Thanks

Chris
