He was using a BDS. The concept of 55-gallon drum upright smoking is catching on! Funny thing though; his fuel was outside of the charcoal basket.

Not sure why he loaded outside the basket.

That's cool! And an interesting technique.

Always glad to see you on here Mark. Tony and I are going to be working on our drums again on Monday. It's taking a while, and he has the welder. We just need to assemble the charcoal holder, buy the grill grates, temp gauges and burn out the barrels.
