• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Just got back from a little three week trip with uncle sam and man is it good to be back in the south and back on this board! Found out while I was gone my team mate decieded to try out some FAB C. He had heard all the negative things that have been posted on BBQ forums about their customer service, shipping and so on. Well he had no problem whatsoever. Paid via paypal, shipping was quick and dirrect and had good communication from them. I wish everybody got that kind of service all the time, but with all the negative press those guys have been getting I thought they deserve the same treatment when they got it right. Maybe all their problems are behind them now.

Oh and my partner said the results were amazing. We will be using the FAB C as a brine along with Plowboys' rub on our chicken.

No, He didn't have any of your rub at his house so he used a general home made rub along with the fab C as a brine. Said the chicken was way more moist than even when he uses his regular brine. He didn't like the rub he used along with the FAB C brine, but attributed that to the rub used not the FAB C.

I've never had FAB C. If you find it too salty, sweet, hot, etc., let me know. I can work on a special blend just for the FAB C use.

Plowboy, I just did a practice cook last week for our next contest and used the combo of Fab -C and your rub. The chicken came out very nice. I am using it this week in Harrisonville. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Did you inject or just marinade?

I'll have to get me some to try. Thanks for the report.

After I injected the chicken with the FAB-C, I poured the remaining marinade onto the chicken and let it marinade overnite. The next day I wiped off the excess FAB-C and sprinkled your rub on the chicken about 3 hours before I placed them on the BWS.

they had an illness in the family and apparently orders got behind so a lot of the bitching was in regards to older orders that ddint get filled, etc..we have had nothing but good service out of them this season

The folks at the ingriedent store have always been very helpful. If you send them an email with any special needs/timelines, they always do their best to help. They had a rough time recently and some folks didnt want to cut any slack, but i can personally say they always came thru when I needed them to. Last note I got from them9recently) said they have greatly improved their shipping times.

I'm glad to see them doing better. After the success of our trial runs with FAB C and chicken we will be using two of their products this weekend at a comp. FAB C as a brine with our chicken and FAB B Lite for the brisket. We will actually be cooking one brisket without and one with to compare the results.

When I ordered the product it took about 3 weeks. I sent an email after 2 weeks and got a reply the same day letting me know when the shipment was going out. So I diffently have no complaints
