Has anyone been watching the new Cooking Channel? Just curious what everyone thinks of the format. Better or worse than Food Network?
From what I have seen so far, it is mostly a re-hash of old Food Network shows. Sara Moulton, Molto Mario, etc.
I like Food Jammers...
I like the new shows and the fact that they brought back Sara Moulton and Mario Batali is a plus as far as I can see. I do not want a travelogue show of how people who have more money than I ever will would eat on a weekend in New York or Paris. I am looking to see food. I really like the Food Crafters show, the four new shows I saw were pretty good.
No I have not, but, I do not watch them for their looks. Although I think Sara is cute, especially when she is not in her Chef whites. And I can enjoy watching a person like Mario who genuinely loves food.
No, I chose to!He loves food...that's for sure. And I know you like Mario but did you have to wear orange crocs to lunch today?
I know he rarely cooks anything decent on his show but I love Anthony Bourdain's travelogues.I do not want a travelogue show of how people who have more money than I ever will would eat on a weekend in New York or Paris.

I take it this is another cable/satellite channel?
I only get over the air broadcasts so it is Create on the PBS subchannels. Sarah, Ming, Steven, Americas Test kitchen. All better than that wanna be reality channel formerly known as the FoodNetwork.
I wish I got the Create Channel, those are better shows.I take it this is another cable/satellite channel?
