Those guys have some cool ideas. It may take awhile for them to get where they hope to go, but I can image lots of places (with many tourists or 'walk-by' traffic) that seeing (and smelling) that meat cooking would be a great draw! I'd sure stop in and buy something.

I may be way out of touch here, but I don't think they can patent a food item like that. They can regester the name as a trademark, and then you can't use that, but a food item? I think you can make them all you want you just have to use another name for them. look at all the fast food restaurants out there, and still not a one of them has a patent on any actual item.

I'm talking about further down the page with the sushi items listed. I know they can patent the cooker itself.
