Recteq announced a new grill that’s designed for built-in use. It’s basically a 590 with an included second shelf. I have the larger 680 (now 700) but rarely need the additional space. I’ve always viewed the 590 as a great backyard size.
There really aren’t a lot of options for built in pellet grills and this one is considerably less expensive than most. Always risky to buy something that’s just been released but with Recteq I feel pretty confident that the support would be there.
The big downside is that going that route is that the recteq would be the cheapest part of the build. I’d likely replace the gasser and griddle at the same time — plus the cost of the cabinets.
Decisions, decisions….
