• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I was flipping the channels on the TV today and saw Paula Deen cooking. I stopped for a few minutes and she was throwing together Sweet Chicken Bacon Wraps. It looked pretty good.
She took chicken breast chunks and wrapped bacon around them and coated them in brown sugar and chili powder and baked them....about all I copuld think was how good they'd be smoked. They could also be a viable substitute for the heat of peppers in ABTs

here is the recipe link http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,1977,FOOD_9936_34886,00.html

what do you guys think?

Chicken

I just saw the same thing I think they could give the ABT a run for the money!firing up the spicewine Sat. I think I'll give it a try!!

They are good in the oven. The wife saw the same show a few months back and made some...I too wondered how much better they would be in the smoker...

Well another gotta try. Sure Thirdeye or Ricks Tropical will show us how they look when properly done  !

I think I'll try this, but I'm going to use boneless thighs instead.

Chicken, bacon, sugar and chili powder is a combination I can't pass up. (Although today's "bacon grease" thread has me a little leery)

that right there is a pig candy wrapped chicken chunk!
omg. i am so makin those at bristol next weekend!!

Gonna have to give them a try today, I only got a few jalapeños from the garden so they will add nicely to the appetizers
