Jeff in KC has in-laws that live about 10 miles awat from me so while he and his family were up for Father's Day weekend he stopped by Saturday morning for a brew and some buckboard bacon I fried ontop of the 'dera's fire box lid.
It's always good to meet another brother-in-smoke face to face.

I was thinking that's why Neil cooks the bacon on top so he don't have to oil it.What a concept :wink:

Just got back home from Neil-land tonight! LONG ass trip! Anyway, Neil, thanks a bunch for the hospitality, brief as my stay had to be! Outstanding bacon and I can't wait to get some of my own going. Hhopefully next time up, I'll have more time. I just barely made it for the tee time and I shot the second best golf score of my life (as pitiful as that was). Must have been the buckboard bacon! By the way... my wife loved your nuts! LOL! Smoked almonds for those of you with the mind in the gutter mod! Thanks again Neil! It was great to meet another brother in smoke!
