• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Looking good. That brisket was pretty heavily trimmed--are you planning to wrap it at some point?

BTW, what are you cooking on?

That fattie in front looks like its been picked on along the left side. sampling for doneness? Thats how I check too.

Looking mighty good! The brisket has a beautiful color to it and the fattie looks ready!

"Tis dogs delight to bark and bite",
thus does the adage run,
but I delight to bite the dog when placed inside a bun!

Did you buy the rib ends or were they left over after triming a set? They look great!

Cooked it on a Chargriller today. I built a basket for charcoal and sealed up some holes and now I can get about 5 hours of burn without messing with it @225. Its not a steady as a WSM but I had nothing better to do today. The Burnt Ends are almost ready to come off, thats the real reason I cooked the whole briskett. and its 12:15 here. Oh well I am off tomorrow too.
