• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Stumps elite 8 pix

Thanks! Looks like a sweet cooker. The mods seem like they're taking the Stumps to the next level.

Now go on and get that thing dirty!

That looks like a machine! I like how Stump tucked all the guru parts under the smoker to keep them dry when it rains.

Thanks...

Yea the new mods are great, I don't dislike any of them. I've cooked on it both weekends, but it's going to take a bit to give it that good seasoning.

I might take orders from my buddies and see if I can load it down and give it a big cook, I'd love to see what it can do loaded ...

Nice pics Scott! I just got my first close look at a few Stumps in Lincoln City OR. Not much info on the Stumps website, Thanks for the info!

Nice looking smoker! I finally saw a new stumps elite (I think it was a 6) in person this weekend. It was sure loaded with all the options.

WOW that thing has a lot of features that are right ot of an FEC 100. If it was stainless it would even look like it.

Talked with the Guys at Stump's and there even toying with a model that uses wood pellets as well and is more EFFICIENT then the FEC or the Treager!
I for one am happy about this. I think the prices that Fast Eddy and Treager are asking for commercial units are getting ridiculous. That’s why myself and others are looking at other better quality units that are just as efficient and are more realistically priced like the Stump's and Spicewine.

Thanks Tom...

Hey DrBbq can you please send me a life size picture of your avatar, well at least the left and the right side ? :-D

Thanks

Scot, are you a dealer for Stumps? Could you PM me with some prices. I've been thinking of the Stumps Elite 8 or Backwoods Competitor. I like the Guru mods.

Ron, I'm sorry I'm not a dealer, just happen to have a site with plenty of space and wanted to play a little and since there's not alot of info out there about these, I could show off my cooker and get some info out at the same time..

At the bottom of my page is a email link to the dealer I have dealt with on both of my stumps. Tom can get you the info you're looking for.

Scot, can I be a nosy bastage and ask approximately how much one of those bad boys costs?

Thanks for showing her off. It looks like alot of nice changes are being made to the Stumps line up. Are the new Elite models readily available yet?

Hey Scot,
I've been seriously thinking of adding to my inventory. I have a couple of 22 1/2 inch Webers, a Weber Smoky Mountain, and a BBG Off-set. Would it be possible to have some info about ordering an Elite 8 (contact name, phone or link, and approx cost)? Thanks in advance.

Paul

Don't hold me to this but I believe the elite 6 is $2500, the elite 4 a little less, and elite 8 a little more. I believe availability wise there's a wait once you order, I've seen a few posts stating that they have ordered and are waiting to get theirs.

At the bottom of my page there's a link for the dealer I dealt with on both of my purchases, here's his email [email protected]

You can also go to http://www.stumpssmokers.com and hit the dealer tab and look up a dealer.

Either of those should be able to get you the real answers, I'm just speculating here.

I am the BigTom that Scot is telling about.

He is close on the prices, some of the models have not gone into production so actual prices are estimates.

The Elite 4 it targeted for the $1900-$2100 range, The Elite 6 at around $2500-$2700 and the Elite 8 rings in around $3200. These are purely estimates. All of the pricing has not been finalized.

All the Elite models have the same features: full insulation, improved door latches and hinges, 4-wheels, 4 tie-down rings, Gravity feed chute with ~15# capacity, and BBQ Guru pitminder temperature controller. A customer could upgrade to a Competitor or ProCom4 if desired.

You can check dealers page at www.stumpssmokers.com for a dealer near you or you can contact me if you need more details

Thanks

Doc, the Stump's Elite 8 is about twice the cooker of the FEC100 without the requirement of electricity to make it work.

The Stump's gravity feed smoker has the guru & fan, but can operate and maintain temperature with out being connected to an external power source.
