Mark
somebody shut me the fark up.
Everyone contacting me for seeds so far is apparently only intending to grow a few plants. Here's a simple method.
1. cut the top from the bottom of a sytrofoam egg carton
2. puncture the bottom of th part that holds the eggs to allow drainage
4. fill the egg part wit a high quality potting soil and moisten it,
5. place thd soil-filled on top of the flat part (to catch any excess water)
6. Place this on a south-facing window sill
7. spray daily to keep from drying pot and killing the germinations
Note that the ideal germination temperature for pepper seeds is about 85 deg. F. A window sill is not ideal for this purpose. Thats why I use heating pads and fluorescent lights. After the first true leaves appear, transferring to a window sill is OK.
