• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Stacker Smokers

This is a unit I would not buy sight unseen. With all of those drawers the fit and finish has to be bang on or your going to be wicked upset on spending 4g's on it and every drawer has air leaks.
 
They've been around for a while, a few years back, lots of folks liked the idea. They have not caught on, I suspect due to price.
 
I think its a great idea but needs to be $1000 cheaper or have really cheap shipping. Cooker looks nice to me.
 
Maybe the price reflects the amount of work that it takes to keep it from leakin

I'd be concerned about the drawers leaking out of the front since there aren't any latches to snug them shut when the drawers are closed. At least I don't see any latches. Otherwise the concept is good.

It looks like a nice and well-built unit. However, I agree with the other posters that you have a lot of other options in that price range. You are approaching Myron Mixon Smokers at that price (which I also think are too expensive).

This design seems unnecessarily complex to me. I would be concerned about leakage and how to clean it.

Paul Shirley could build you one helluva smoker for 4K. and it'd hold about 20x as much food. That price is ridiculous. I don't even see why you would want this over a regular cabinet like a Humphries or a LSG. Is it just supposed to help keep from losing heat when opening the door? Pits rebound really quickly, and there's really no reason to peek that often.. I am having trouble seeing the value here.
