The Competition
Competition categories include pork butts, pork ribs, and chicken. Friday evening will feature an "Anything But" competition with optional entries for both sweet and savory categories. Judging on Friday night will be performed by celebrity judges under the supervision of SBN judges. Pork butts, ribs, and chicken entries will be turned-in on the morning of Saturday, July 19. Teams must compete in all three categories to be eligible for Grand or Reserve Grand Champion Awards. Cook sites will be located on Oak Av (Upper Street) in downtown Spruce Pine.
