While a lot of the Texas folks went to Pine Bluff this past weekend chasing the big bucks. We enjoyed competing in a contest in Springtown TX. There were 38 teams entered. I did pretty good with a 4th and 4th in brisket and chicken. Eric helped with the chicken and I appreciated his contribution. My wife Sheila actually did the best. She got 2nd in beans. Last month in West, TX my daughter beat me with a 6th and I got a 7th. I need to take more family next time. Had I done my normal ribs I probably woulda gotten reserve, but I deviated from what was working for me..... OK lesson learned!

xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.
