Though I used it during the winter, I did some deep cleaning today. Ran it 350 for a few hours, cleaned it out, put a fresh coat of oil on it, even oiled the fire box area to help with rust. Replaced some door gaskets etc. Touched up some paint on the outside as needed.

Should be ready to go for next weekend's brisket!!

I have a long list of spring cleaning on my cookers: new gasket on the BGE, complete cleanout / re-season / wash wax of the Assassin, and pressure washing my kettle.

You need to take care of your cookers.

That is incredibly clean! I wish some of the folks on Marketplace cleaned theirs that well before listing them.

Really nice job! I had to clean out my offset recently. It was supposed to be winter but after a couple of really humid days it had mold. Made it almost as clean as yours. Turned out 5 other cookers also had mold. Didn't matter if the were inside or outside, cover or no cover. All of them had mold.
