I've posted a few times over the past few months and I just realized that I haven't introduced myself.
My name is Chris Dubuque.
I've been involved in the restaurant business for about 25 yrs now.
Washing dishes, cutting meat, running the kitchen at Bern's steak house here in Tampa and now I run my own business. Category Management Group. I help small and med. sized restaurant chains buy their categories better and figure out the logistics and distribution of those products to their individual restaurants. I work with Cheddar's, Melting Pot, Roy's and K-Bob's to name a few.
I will never work for anyone else ever again. I bring my dogs to the office. It's been an eyeopening experience. No more gorilla work. Work smarter and not harder. Hell, I play hard enough to make up the difference.
Life is great here in Tampa. Beautiful wife, 2 dogs and 9 grills, what more could I need?
Spending time here on the forum has been extremely entertaining and educational.
The Brethren are a Passionate bunch and that's what draws me here.
Thanks for everyones help in the past and let me know if you ever are going to pass through Tampa and I'll buy you a beer!
