Sometimes you just need a basic cheeseburger

Needed a quick meal and cheeseburgers were calling my name. Nothing fancy to see here, but I must say I'm not sure I could ever go back to a basic grill again for burgers. I love my griddle. I really love the great sear you get on it when you "smash" them!

Nice cooking! I would say, however, that the word "sometimes" might ought to be changed to "often" or "very often". Maybe even "all the time".

Griddles/CI skillets, etc. do put a nice crust on burgers and steaks!

Looking good! Out of all the things I've smoked and grilled, a good cheeseburger (usually venison) is my favorite. Lately I've been into In-N-Out copycat cheeseburgers.

Oh yeah! Those look delicious. I do mine on a 500 degree griddle with salt only about 90 % of the time.
