Some dinner pron

Here's this week's dinners...

Monday - Grilled pork chops glazed with Steve Raichlin's Brown Sugar Lemon sauce (pretty good sauce), grilled bell peppers and onions and a couple of fatties for the week.

Tuesday - Portabella and Gouda cheese Burgers and mashed cauliflower. I bought the burgers at Fresh Market. They had pieces of portabella and gouda mixed into them. They were pretty good. For the cauliflower I used a recipe from Rachel Ray that had parmesan and boursin cheeses. It was good but not as creamy as it looked on the show.

Today - Trader Joe's pre-marinaded Carne Asada tacos with refried beans, Spanish Rice and guacamole

I wonder what we'll have tomorrow

I'm not cooking this weekend. We're heading out tomorrow evening to your neck of the woods (Chesterton area) for my mom's 80th birthday and we're heading up towards Neil's area (well, New Buffalo, anyway) for dinner on Saturday night at Skip's Other Place. They have the best prime rib I have ever found in a restaurant.
