• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Pot luck type of thing. Word got around that I was doing the q and and the number quickly went up to about 90 people. I've taken some q in before but this is the biggest cook for work by far. Glad the other 150 or so are going to be out in the field. :becky:

On the menu:

2 8lb pork butts
6 racks of STL ribs
6 rack of BB
10 lbs of drumsticks
10 lbs of thighs
5 lbs of sausage

Prepped the LSG in the afternoon to start at 2am. Locked and loaded.

Thanks Matt!

About ready for coffee.

Nice of you to volunteer. This may become a recurring event with bigger crowds.

Lots of lucky people sleeping soundly not realizing a labor of love is about to make their day. Awesome cook . Smoke On!!

Amen Adams!

Luckily I work with a quite a few folks from originally from TX and LA who know about bbq and the work involved.

By the end of the day your going to be beat.
There is going to be some happy co-workers today!

Outstanding work ssv3. Its a great thing to share the passion that is "Q" with people. the 2am start time is rough and all the prep before and work during or after....I know they will appreciate it once they get the smell in their noses and the taste in their face. :)

Q on

A labor of love, I hope everyone gives you the thanks that you deserve.

Hopefully you are not putting that beer on too

One thing I know...that LSG vertical offset can handle the job. I am so looking forward to seeing the cook results. Ninety people....wow. The most I have cooked so far on mine is 10. I am a rookie!
