• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Hi, I'm new to this but. I'm looking to buy a offset smoker. I think I have narrowed down to two a yoder's or horizon. Does anyone have any helpful tips I would appreciate it.

which one has a dealer closer to you? shipping can add a lot to your total.

Yoder would be my choice between the two and since you're in Pa you might want to checkout Meadow Creek.

Horizon but here the doors have a problem

if you are already having doubts about Horizon then go ahead and rule them out. no need to be second guessing or regretting that decision for the next 20 years.

Penn Hearth (Allentown area) for Yoder or consider Meadow Creek (New Holland) which is closer.

What's your budget.? I wouldn't buy either but I'm in Texas.

Between those 2 I'd go Yoder. The Horizon's most popular is 16" Diameter - too small for me and their larger pits get Pricey enough there's other makes I'd prefer in price range. Yoders are Great and people love them but there are too many other options closer for me.
