thats an old NB Black Diamond from the looks of it..i have one and still cook on it on occasion..50 bucks is a decent price but i bet you can get him down as it looks like it needs some cleanup

Charbroiler is my bet. Tell them the wood side counter will have to be replaced and offer em $25.00.

I'll bet it's a Brinkmann SmokeN'Pit or something like that. Retails for about $150-175 at Menards, KMart etc. It's not that heavy duty. I have one.
