• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Yep. Ashmont & I smoked braunschwager. Well coated with a hot rub and cooked until it split open like an overgrilled hotdog. Damn good (for braunschwager).

Scroll down to the fatties pic. The one in the middle is braunschwager.

Braunschwager is good as it is, but this sounds awsome. I would eat it more often if I wasn't afraid of a coronary event.

Hey, I've got some Braun. at home right now... Let's see, what could I do with it???

What kind of rub did you use and how hot did you cook it? Thinking I could shape some into a turkey and serve it at Thanksgiving. ;-)

I don't think I've ever had braunschwager. In fact, last night at the grocery store was the first I've ever noticed it while picking up some sandwich meat. What exactly is it - what meat is it comparable to?

Damn, I've got to try this. There is an eastern European supermarket by my place that sells all sorts of various liver sausages.

Round here, it's also known as 'Liver Sausage'... It's kind of like a creamy version of bologna... My father and I used to slice and fry it in butter...:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

It might be a cuzzin too Liverwurst
