• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Pleasure cooking this morning after my debacle from my last burn a couple of months ago (wind, rain, cold).

Though is is not easy finding lump around my parts, just Cowboy Brand from Lowes and Char-Broil brand, I bought a few boxes a while back. I noticed there is a lot of small bits of lump with the Char-Broil. Do I discard it or dump it in the flame? I just don`t like the dust it kicks up.

Smoke is blue,
meat is red.
Let me drain this beer
into me head.

Sorry, I couldnt help myself. I throw away the lump dust.

Ditch the dust dude. I once poured the remaining contents of the box on the open fire and singed the eyebrows off my brother in laws face. He is loud and obnoxious and that shut him up. Like they say you can pick your nose but not your relatives.

Now that's funny........

So not all was lost Lazy dog! We can save you some dust just in case he needs a refresher course in standing too close!

Greedy, glad to hear you're having an enjoyable holiday cook and even better to see you here!! Smoke on Bro!!
