• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

The usually come in about three sizes, XL, XXL and XXXL...

You can get them at RD, cryo'd... they weigh 20+ lbs. I've cooked a coulp, for large crowds. Lots of salt and pepper/ some garlic powder, otherwise I wouldn't try to get super fancy... its just a gigantic piece of meat.

Brenden i just did a search here for clods and i saw one calling them a 114 they are about 20 lbs each i just called a local beef wholsaler and he has them So im going to try a box
Thanks
Roy

Its big, and its ugly... I wouldn't try to get too into trimming or trying to clean it up. You'll find that the fat runs in 6 directions, the muscles are attached in a variety of places, it will be inconsistant shapes...

If you get to into trimming it too much you may actually find that it falls into multiple pieces, which isn't what you want.

If you buying a case... bring a dolly.

The only place that I can get shoulder clod is at Rest.Depot.
It's big and it's tasty.

Let us know how your cook turns out.

I'm tempted to try one. I saw them at the business Costco and the smallest ones were 15 lbs. Also saw something called a Neck Roll at the Cash n'Carry, is that similar to the clod?
