Need help with hip roof as far as benefits / pros and cons....

Is it for more air flow ? Just for looks ? So that you may ad another grate, or??

i was thinking to ad another grate (4 total) in main cc. i know grates will be evenly spaced but if i add hip would the spacing change due to the extra 3" in the hip ?

ive emailed Paul already and just waiting to hear back from him. in the mean time i was hoping to get some help here..

Gives you a little more headroom above the top rack, for me it was purely for the look. It gives the smoker the look of a true craftsman build.

I think it is more a look thing because you only have the space from the shelf to the top of the smoker , the hip part is above that .

I do agree it looks cool and bad ass , thats for sure..

Need to get my "must have's" 1st and if any money left over then i cant start lookin at "cool" and "bad ass " options:-D
