Shirley and LSG on the same street

Pretty soon I think I'll get to experience the best of both worlds. As some of you know, I'm about to pick up my LSG Trailer order in about 3 weeks, but here's the kicker, I have convinced my buddy neighbor (Brethren name: bbqlearner) 2 doors down to order a Shirley wagon model for their new outdoor kitchen. So, I'll get to 'order' a Shirley through him. We plan to go down to Tuscaloosa together to pick it up. Ain't life grand?

Based on my experience with my LSG stickburner, and my experience with your Shirley at the Bash, I feel that since he wants a stickburner, Shirley is the better way to go. It drafts like a dream, capacity galore, and his wife (who controls the money) loves the no lift cabinet door. The LSG is a 24" diameter pipe which is less deep and the cylindical shape reduces the room in there.

If he wants a vertical cabinet, then he Should get an LSG VIS.

He's been following the Terry Hoey thread, but his wife already loves the Shirley idea.

Buying the one the wife liked is just plain smart. Your friend is no idiot plus it's a Shirley.

And I really hope you bring your tricked out LSG to one of the bashes. It sounds like a well thought out design.

If the fall bash is back at Belton, I may just bring it to that one since it'll be a closer drive.
Plus, my work schedule (I work for a church) this Spring is looking ominous (3 conferences, Lent and Road to Resurrection events)
