Set up and smoking in Baton Rouge for flood victims

I'm here and the need is incredible. I have had tons of donations, and am now serving 1000 meals tomorrow. 100lbs of pasta, 25 gallons of italian dressing. 350lb - 40 butts. 320lbs of chicken quarters. 300 hotdogs. They are going to cook the hotdogs themselves.

On sunday morning I am having more chicken and 300lbs of pork loin dropped off. And doing dinner for 500-700 Sunday night before leaving!! This is BY FAR the biggest cook I've ever done. This is why I got "The Grocery Cart" built!

I'm already hooked up with Salvation Army. They need 4000 plates a meal to feed their shelters and are coming up short most meals.

Exactly... it's not like you're doing something different then BBQ Relief is doing which is feeding the folks that need help.

All the pasta salad is made. Ended up doing it in about 20 batches... Been boiling since 5pm... What a pita.. I should have brought my 120qt crawfish pot instead I thought my 30qt pot would be enough.

Sorry for not having time to update!! Here is Saturday. We did about 1800 meals on Friday and 1200 on Saturday(way more than planned)

Friday

It took a lot of help to cook this 700 lbs of meat and 300 hotdogs.

Ain't no rain stopping me!!

And now Saturday, (today) I did 200lbs of pork loin and 120lbs of chicken and 100 lbs of sausage.
