• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I know this may sound like a silly question, but where the heck is the serial number on a Weber Kettle? I got that Silver series for Christmas and wanted to register it but can't find the number. If it was on the box or in the instructions that came with the grill, well, it's now ashes in the backyard  .

I've looked all over the grill and can't find it anywhere. Is there a secret hiding place for it?

I do not have a Weber. So the best advice I can offer is to call and ask them or go online to check.

Go to Weber.com and click on replacement parts,it will direct you to all the grills (gas/charcoal) and pick out your model. My Performer # is well hidden on the frame under the igniter directions. Or give them a call 24/7. I didn't realize it's a kettle, it's the one or two letters directly under the rivet in the lid vent.

The serial # is on the air intake vent on the lid. it will have a letter and a number like D1. I had the same question with my Weber Gold that I got for Christmas. I called Weber and they directed me.
