• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Had the people at the refuse station keep an eye out for me, after a few months, I got this! Cost? A case of bottled water! UDS #2? Don't know, wife is shaking her head...never had one of these before.
now I know how Beerwolf feels! One of the wheels is missing...a dent in the cover...

Good score bruddah!!!   Is it an 18 or 22 inch?

JD

Excellent score Keale! The dent is mandatory...it makes it cook better.

Its a 22in. The drums I have access to (as much as I need) are 35 in. in height, and this weber and my other cover goes right over the lip, no cutting needed! Are the drums other people are using bigger that the lids have to balance on them? or cut off the lips? Just currious...

Keale, I have had to cut the rim off all of mine except one. It had a thin lip and the weber lit fit without cutting. Wish they were all that way.

Sweeeet score!

So the wife was shaking her head in disbelief that you managed to get this for free?

I wish that was the reason, she was shaking her head in "what do you mean another UDS"??!!:-D

Just tell her how purty she is and how much shes gonna love the food you make with it, OR the next UDS you might have planned..

Roy-I wish to congratulate you on the Weber find! You are now a member of the Weber Rescue League. This one you should save, then start collecting colors!

I had a green one but it sold before I got it out of the car!

Brian, I'm not even going to ask you where you got all those! Are you looking thru peoples back yards and trash? LOL! Now you gotta teach me how to use it!

Cyber dumpster diving via craigslist! I only have the Red and Blue one left, I had been collecting Webers over the winter for UDS parts and answered ads for a Free Weber and sometimes you get what you get! Paid $20 for the Blue one with a rotisserie ring and a brand new grate!

I haven't been without a Weber kettle for at least 25 years. Great score bro... you will love it and its parts!!!

Congrats on the Score.

Ya can't beat having a Webber Kettle around the house.

Hmmm... Dented lid, wheel missing. Is half of the handle broken and is it gray with age? Someone may have stolen mine from my garage

Nice score!
