Finally scored a Weber performer grill that was leftover form the season at the local Walmart for $20. Think I might use it tomorrow to indirect smoke a 10lb shoulder, any pros or cons to doing this?


EDIT: Sorry guys, just realized I posted the wrong model, its a Weber One touch silver 22.5". Guess I have a performer still on the brain.

20 bucks! holy fark!! I wish I saw those kinda deals over here! As for the shoulder, I have done them on my little 18.5 inch, just used some fire brick to push the coals to one side and a drip pan under the pork. Works killer.
