• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

New guy here from the heart of the Missouri Ozarks. I found this site after a guy on rokslide ( the backcountry hunting forum) mentioned it.

I'm 27 yrs old, married with 2 children, and work in the construction industry. For the last 5 years or so I've been trying all sorts of stuff on a $120 grill from Ace Hardware. That grill has provided us with some mighty fine eating as long as I give it the attention it needs. I'm going to have to replace it soon and I think I'll probably get a weber kettle.

Obviously I also love to hunt and with that I also love to grill and smoke wild game. Of course I also enjoy the typical burgers, ribs, wings, and even saute' veggies in a cast iron skillet on it sometimes. I'm still very much a novice compared to what I see here tho, and look forward to learning all kinds of stuff from you guys.

Welocme to the asylum!

Take a look around and if you have questions please feel free to contact the moderator team or our senior members. Their names are color coded so you can recognized them.

Also, each section of the forum has a description that you can use to figure out where to post.

Finally, please review our rules! They are pretty straight forward, but looking at them up front may help to eliminate problems later :-D

Oh! Don't forget to add your name to the Brethren Map, located at the top of this Cattle Call forum.

Most important, have fun and join in our conversations and share and learn!

Welcome woods89, the Weber Kettle is a great grill and you can also smoke pork butts and ribs on it.

Welcome, come on in, take your shoes off and sit a spell.
