Your little mate needs some TLC
Natural sheepskin raw sausage hasn’t post much of a problem with tough casings for me. Precooked Sausage seems worse, however both can be simmered for 20 minutes then grilled. Or even reverse that and grill then simmer. Might see if that’ll work. Simmering in onions butter and beer then grilling then returning to the butter beer and onion is pretty solid.
