I'm terribly sorry, but I've got no photos so far...

Worked late last night. Terrible fast food dinner in front of me as I watched Rick Bayless making Salsa Negra Baked with Goat/Cream Cheese... What!?

Grabbed this and that on base at the Commissary and at the local Meximart - El Super... No house-made tortilla chips to be found. Get some Saltines or Ritz. Solved.

Made Salsa Negra per recipe. Decided to split the experiment and go 1/2 warm - baked over cream cheese and 1/2 warm over cream cheese (like we'd do with spicy chile jam over cream cheese in the South).

Family fell upon the heated / baked option... really seemed to temper the heat/spice of the chili jam / spread. 6-yr old CRUSHED this version.

More to follow - Highly suggested for families.
