• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Sale of iGrill Line

wow, i was literally just looking at buying one these on amazon and decided to hold off! What i really want is a wifi thermometer as opposed to bluetooth that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I'm with you on the wifi, bluetooth just doesn't have enough range, fortunately my trusty 3 year old Mav et-732 is still going strong so I'm not in a hurry.

If one of those probes was for ambient, I wouldve bought that kit. I didn't want to have to spend another $25 so I just bought another maverick.

Same here. I have the probe now and thought about getting this as a back up or to use in the second smoker.

How is the ambient probe different from the meat probe besides the pointy end?

Mine is great. I have three probes (2 meat and 1 ambient). Wifi would be nice but I can live with the bluetooth. Looks kind of cool too.

I have 2 iGrill2's. Only because I bought the $79.00 one at Sams for the 4 probes.
Range isn't great but it works good for my situation.
