My 15 y.o. son just text me: Ms. Driskoll wants to know if you can bring some snacks and stuff for our Photo Club holiday party.

Me: Sure, when is it?
Kid: Today.
Me: Today? What time?
Kid: 2:15.
Me: Allright....what are the other parents bringing, so I won't double up.
Kid: You're the only one who said they would bring anything.
Me: How many people?
Kid: 20. I love you.
Me: Way to kiss a$$, I'll be there at 2:15.

So, since I'm at work and only have a toaster oven and microwave, and fortunately have been too lazy to take home stuff I've brought food items in, I've come up with the following (I will hit the grocery store at lunchtime):

Silver dollar rolls with ham, turkey, roast beef
Mexican layer dip (beans, sour cream, salsa, cheese) Chips
Cheeseball and crackers
Summer Sausage and cheese (a buddy sent some to me here at work and I have it's cry-o'd in the fridge)
Christmasy cookies
Rolo turtles

Am I forgetting anything?

Okay, I made them

the store didn't have any round pretzel crisps, but, I used the square butter crisp pretzels!

They're not bad! When the Rolo melts when the pecan is pushed in, it covers the whole square.

Thanks Plowboy! I'm sure the Photo Group will enjoy them!

I was signing the song as I clicked that link. I used to eat a roll of those a day between 2nd and 3rd hour in high school and never gained an once. Now I look at that and gain weight.
